Prolific architecture and design deo Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez teamed up with Jaquar to create a subtle and stylish new range

Bathroom brand Jaquar has collaborated with international designers Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez to launch its new Laguna collection.

The range has been designed to enable a wide range of combinations and a light and delicate aesthetic. It has been created with high quality ceramic and pure, slim shapes and includes taps, accessories, furniture, shower and a bathtub which can all be selected with a choice of metal finishes or with oak and walnut wood. The collection includes three colour groups, each aiming to provide different moods, looks and dimensions.

Developed over more than two years, Laguna is intended for use in private or contract projects with a premium look that is not as expensive as many high-end ranges.

Rajesh Mehra, Director of Jaquar Group, said: “We asked Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez to create something beautiful and at the same time very simple and flexible, a system that could cross differences between the markets, taking in consideration the issue of the sustainability, aware of the importance of preserving our planet but also designing products able to respond to the needs of a very large audience.”

Thun added: “Laguna unites Indian first class craftmanship, excellent know-how in finishing and a pure design language. Jaquar’s upscale quality transmits the spirit of a hand-made product but with real value for money.”
